Japan is going to release Fukushima treated radioactive water into sea

Hello everyone!

I will talk about a fact that is the cause of discussions today. The water used to cool the reactors after the dramatic accident at Japan's Fukushima nuclear power plant will be thrown into the sea.

 Thousands of tanks full of radioactive liquid , for a total of 1.25 million tons, will therefore end up in the ocean . This was decided by the Japanese government, on the morning of Tuesday 13 March.

4 REASONS WHY “NORWEGIAN WOOD” IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE BOOKS

Hi guys! Today I want talk about a fantastic book, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, one of the most famous Japanese writers. 

It is the story of a teenager (Tōru Watanabe) traumatized by his best friend’s suicide,  which happened some years before the narration begins. He meets a lot of characters, teenagers and adults, who bring him from the carelessness and the liabilities of teenage, to maturity and to the personal acceptance of adulthood.

It is one of my favorite books, as well as the coming-of-age story par excellence, and I’m ready to point out why.

NEW YEAR IN JAPAN

Hi guys! Welcome back to our blog! Since we have recently welcomed the new year and, as you know, I’m fond of everything Japanese, today I’d like to tell you what happens in Japan on  New Year’s Day.

The 31^st December and the 1^st January are very important days in Japanese culture, they correspond respectively to the holidays called Omisoka and Shogatsu.

Like any other important celebration there are traditional rites, in the Japanese culture there are many; 9 traditional rites!

A DRAWING, A STORY, A VIDEO: THE KITSUNE & THE MAN

Once upon a time there was a young fox living in the forest. She was as beautiful as the rising sun and even the forest's yokais were fascinated by her grace.

She had nine long and hypnotic tails that shined in the dark as if they were made of fire. At the time foxes where called 狐, and they were gifted with powerful magic, far more powerful than any other mortal could ever have.

Soon the fox, due to her curiosity, found out the existence of humans, she found them so interesting that she started exercising on shape shifting, just to be able to get along with humans.  Even though not much time passed since she started, in just a couple of days she was already able to look like any human.

Some days as an old woman some other days as a child, she walked, spoke and even made friends among humans, but one day she didn't meet a normal human, he was different to her eyes, she soon started to feel something for him.
