METAVERSE: ZUCKERBERG'S NEW VIRTUAL WORLD

 

 

We are on the brink of a new virtual era, and what  is leading us there is Metaverse.  Have you ever heard about it? Go on reading and discover more.

                                                                         

 Before it was only a word from Neal Stephenson's book (Snow Crash) created in 1992, but now it has become reality.

The developer of   Metaverse wanted to create a virtual world where you can do whatever you want, even buy a property. A man this year bought a terrain on  Metaverse for several millions, and this is just the beginning.

Imagine a virtual world like that in The Matrix, where you can be a different person from your ordinary reality, even in your aspect,  since you can create your personal avatar in it.

Now   Metaverse is a sphere with a circumference of 65,536 km, it is sliced into two parts at the equator and you can move from a part to the other  by  train.

On the Metaverse there are shops and tourist attractions, you can create whatever you want and it can be visited by others.

You are probably wondering:  how can I enter it?

You should join a website that is part of it and in order to have the best experience you should use an oculus rift.

Metaverse is not only a place to have fun, but it also creates new working places and job opportunities and also new sports or events.

For example,  you could work from home without using cars or public transport and without polluting or be at an event without moving from your house.

This obviously is just a fictional world so you can spend time on it but with parsimony, because you could become addicted to it, making Metaverse become your " real world".
