5 THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT THE EIFFEL TOWER

 

This year we studied the construction of the Eiffel Tower. I've always liked it and I wanted to look for more information about it. This is what I found :

Since the Eiffel Tower’s 1889 inauguration in Paris, over 300 million visitors have visited the iconic attraction. It is designed to commemorate the centennial of the French Revolution. The construction of this tower was not easy. 60 tons of paint, 7,300 tons of iron, and 2.5 million rivets were used. It took two years, two months and five days for the structure to be completed.

Paris, the capital of France, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and important cities in the world, where there are many monuments and experiences to do.  Since I’m soon going there  I’d like to share with you what the most interesting things to do and the most beautiful places to visit are.  Paris is visited by around 11 million tourists a year and tourism is its main economic source.  It is also known for being the city of fashion and love, which attracts most of the tourists.

COOL! NAUTIC SUP PARIS CROSSING

Every year the biggest Stand Up Paddle race in the world takes place in one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Europe. Yes, you're right: it is Paris, obviously. This race gathers professionals and amateurs on the same starting line. Last year more than 600 riders participated in the race. This year 700 riders saw this city from an unusual view.

Nowadays there are fewer travellers due to fear of terrorism and too expensive trips and transports.  However, I think we shouldn’t stop dreaming or better planning about future journeys or trips. These are 7 places everybody should visit in their lives!
