MICHAEL PHELPS

Michael Phelps is an American swimmer. He is the most-decorated athlete in Olympic history with 28 medals, holding the all-time record of 23 gold medals. 

At the 2008 Games in Beijing, he became the first athlete to win eight gold medals at a single Olympics. Currently, Michael Phelps is retired.

Hi guys! I’m Nicolo’, in this post today I want to talk about my favourite sport: swimming.

Swimming is an individual sport. Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and individual medley. In addition to these individual sport, Olympic swimmers also take part in relays. Swimmers can compete in open-water events, for example in a sea or lake.

Micheal Phelps is one of the best swimmers in the world. He was born on June 30, 1985, in Baltimore, Maryland.

He competed in his first Olympic Games when he was 15, as part of the U.S. men’s swim team. He won a total of 28 medals (23 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze) and setting the record for the most won medals by any Olympic athlete.
