RAFAEL NADAL

Hi guys!! Today I am going to tell you about a great tennis player: Rafael Nadal. Federer triumphed at the Australian open final against him but I'd like to talk about Nadal because even the losers are worthy of glory.

Rafael Nadal was born in Spain in 1986 and he has played tennis since he was a child. He won a lot of important titles in his career.

When he was 12 years old, he won two important titles. At 17 Nadal became the youngest male to reach the third round at Wimbledon since Boris Becker. Later he won 14 titles of the Grand Slam! He is an emblem of tennis.

We’ve watched it recently and it is really breathtaking! What a TV series!

It’s not only us who are saying that. Narcos is believed to be one of the best television series of  its genre. How many seasons are there?

Unfortunately only two, but the producers have already confirmed that season 3 and 4 are going to be launched. To be honest we think that the first season is more thrilling than the second, because it tells about the rise of Pablo Emilio Escobar Gaviria, who was one of the most powerful narco-trafficker in history. The narrative is set in Colombia, more specifically in Medellin and Bogotà.

Today is the International Remembrance Day and we want to do our part and contribute a post regarding the Holocaust.

We live in a society that need to remember and not to forget the past,  what has been must not  happen anymore. We must learn from the past and make the horrible stories we know about become lessons we truly understand. The world is not all pink and flowers, it has never been and it will never be. What is important is our commitment for the right causes, our will to do our part. Things may change thanks to each one of us!

A GIANT ICEBERG OF ANTARTICA

A giant iceberg, with an area equivalent to Liguria (a region in Italy), is poised to break off from the Antartica shelf.

A thread of just 20km of ice is now preventing the 5,000 sq km mass from floating away, following the sudden expansion last month of a rift that has been steadily growing for more than a decade.

The iceberg, which is positioned on the most northern major ice shelf in Antarctica, known as Larsen C, is predicted to be one of the largest 10 break-offs ever recorded.
