TERROR & DEATH IN BERLIN AND ANKARA

19th December 2016Something terrible happened: two men killed 12 people and 48 people were wounded.
How did they act? They hit the Christmas Markets with a 7-tonne truck. In the truck there were two men: one was found dead, the other would have jumped out and fled on foot.

On the same day there was another terroristic attack in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. Andrey Karlov, a Russian ambassador, was shot by an Islamic extremist during the inauguration of an exhibition; the attacker would have claimed his act as a revenge for Aleppo.

WHAT AN AWFUL, TRAGIC DAY!

The Berlin attack reminds us of Nizza's events in July, when a truck ran over the crowd through the main street of the city, killing so  many people.

We are shocked but we can’t be beaten by these fanatics who have been terrorizing our lives for years now. We must hold on to our traditions and not give up our habits. This will be a less happy Christmas but we must celebrate it as usual and no matter what, praying that these hatred and craziness stops and very soon. We must oppose love and solidarity to their hate and Christmas is just the right occasion to do that.
