WILL: DISCOVERING SHAKESPEARE’S GLAMOROUS WORLD

There are many theories about who William Shakespeare was. What makes him unique is that, unlike his contemporaries, he wasn’t university educated; he was a glove maker. He approached plays and theatre from a very different background.
Shakespeare wrote plays for everyone. He  was - probably - a  Catholic writing  plays in a  protestant world; he had to be very, very careful.
He wrote a lot of plays and people liked them. A lot of people went to see his plays performed in London theatres and, especially at  the Globe theatre after 1599.
Now, probably you are thinking about how I can know all these thing. The answer is … yes, I studied something for school but I  have also seen  an amazing tv series about Shakespeare: WILL.

But after a great period of success the popularity of MySpace started declining.

What was your favorite animated cartoon? Have you ever had a favorite cartoon character?

TIME FOR A STORY: A SAD SMILE

This is the third instalment of my story. I recommend you to read the first two ones,  HERE and HERE before going on reading "A Sad Smile". But if you are too lazy too do it, never mind, I bet you'll be able to enjoy the mystery surrounding the two protagonists anyway. Enjoy reading, whatever you choose!

Don’t tell anybody. Can I trust you?”. Mark’s father said with a worried loudness.
I promise you, yeah, you can trust me.” Mark answered.
Mark was thinking about his biggest mistake. He had trusted the wrong person. Anyway truth comes to light sooner or later. Well, ALWAYS. So, better safe than sorry. He was frightened, he lost control. What did his mistakes mean? An impenetrable trap of lies, an immense sense of guilt and a perpetual desire to put an end to it. An unveiled secret can completely upset your life, can make it a nightmare, can totally change the way you live.

ALICE’S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND

Everyone knows Alice but not everybody knows how Alice was created or much about the writer of the book. Charles Dodgson better known as Lewis Carroll was born in Cheshire in 1832. He was an English writer, logician, mathematician and photographer. When he was eleven his family moved to Yorkshire, where he stayed for 25 years. Since he was a child he showed an open mind. He was very intelligent and when he was seven, he read an allegorical religious novel called “ The Pilgrim’s Progress”. He suffered from stuttering and that caused him many problems to socialize. At age twelve he was sent to study in a private school in Richmond. He was a genius, in fact his Maths teacher, R.B

Even though she  was  away, she believed she saw his shadow everywhere . She could not understand how he could have discovered her secret. She remembered the words that a person had  told her once: "what you hide the most is what shows more about yourself."

WHAT DOES  SHOAH MEAN?

SHOAH is a  Hebrew word that means “ devastating storm”, which indicates Jewish people  extermination during Second World War. Hitler used mass extermination to kill nearly six million people during his reign of terror , with the main objective to create a “pure and simple” world.

TIME FOR A STORY - THE DARK FIGURE

She couldn’t sleep,  something kept her awake:  a noise , a feeling, a fear. She couldn’t understand what it was. She was lying down on her bed, in her room, motionless in the dark. Her open eyes tried to penetrate the darkness because it was where her demons hid. All her senses were alert, looking for a sound, a movement, anything that proved the presence of another person. The last weeks had been difficult, especially after that strange feeling had become a concern and finally certainty.  Someone followed her. Her house was watched. Someone spied on her movements: where she went, what she did, who she met. Everywhere she went he was with her: always.

Sometimes she had seen him from a shop window after she had  entered. A tall and young man with black hair and blue eyes,  so intense and penetrating to  seem unreal. He was always with her, and he knew she knew it , he knew she felt his presence. Then there was that night in the park. She had left her home to go jogging. Leaving the house she looked around furtively to try to see the black figure, as she had begun to do since she had discovered the stalker. She hadn’t seen him anywhere. She felt relieved, calmer so she started running. The sun was setting and the light of the street lamps illuminated the path,  she ran between the trees. The wind was the only sound other than that of her footsteps. A black figure. Suddenly something (or someone?) tried to make her fall. She remained motionless for a few seconds which seemed hours, then she reacted and started running fast, faster and faster.
