I'M FOND OF VOLLEYBALL

I love volleyball, it’s my favourite sport and the one I’ve been practicing since I was a child. Did you know that volleyball was invented by William Morgan, an American gym teacher, in 1895? It is a team sport. There are six players, and every player has a position:

  • Outside Hitter (also called wing spiker, left side)
  • Opposite Hitter (attacker)
  • Setter
  • Middle Blocker (center, middle Hitter)
  • Libero
  • Defensive Specialist

I have to admit Ed Sheeran is the only singer who has never disappointed me. He is able to convey something new in every song. I never get tired of him. It may be for his wonderful voice, his simplicity and the spontaneity I feel when he just sings a note.
Now he is the biggest selling male pop star in the world and his album DIVIDE sold over 400,000 in just three days.
Here are 9 curious facts about ED, which make him even more lovable. Ready?

A VERY ROMANTIC ROYAL WEDDING

Who would ever have thought Prince Harry could fall in love with a common girl and decide to marry her so early?
Prince Harry is the more rebellious of Lady D’s two sons. There are many stories about his wild parties and he had never been engaged before.
He had never been in a hurry to settle down like his brother William but now that he got married, he was able to create something wonderful, something nobody expected.

I FIRST SAW MY WIFE 10 YEARS AFTER WE MARRIED

We watch movies. We read stories. Too often we forget that our lives are an adventure too!

We are surrounded by people who are really worth to be known.

I am going to tell you about the experience of SHANDER. He tells us how everything that makes us different can be a gift.

“When you are blind you imagine how people look. Not by touching their face our gauging their height, but by their voice, and the kind of person they are”.

OUR DISNEY CHANNEL TIMES

If I mention  DISNEY CHANNEL, do you all start feeling very old? No, please, don’t do it! It’s not been that long since we were children and we used to watch cartoons on TV. Disney Channel was the perfect place for some great fun.

I know some of you still do it, but, you know, you don’t have to worry, I know how to keep a secret. ;-)

I remember my friends and I always tried to make impressions of our favourite characters. We tried to sing like them, dance like them.

ONCE UPON A TIME

ONCE UPON A TIME is coming back with another magic season and our favourite fairy tales. This time with an almost completely different cast.                                                                                          The majority of the main cast members wouldn’t be returning for season 7 for many different reasons

Can you guess what to feel hard or to feel too much mean? Princess “Qualcosa di Troppo” knew it. Qualcosa di troppo means something too much in Italian.

We've got a good book to recommend today and a great story to tell you. We read I AM MALALA,  the biography of young Pakistani activist, Malala Yousafzai and we are sure everyone should read it.  Her story is moving, inspiring and thought- provoking. She is a real heroine!

“I TELL MY STORY, NOT BECAUSE IT IS UNIQUE, BUT BECAUSE IT IS NOT. IT IS THE STORY OF MANY GIRLS.”

OUR QUOTE LIBRARY PART 1

We know that the BIG WORLD OF BOOKS has  a fundamental  place in the history of humanity.

We mean, books are the key to the mind and the soul of our humanity and to men who have lived in our world since ancient times.

They  tell us the world has changed  and  the world will change again, but, fundamentally, human beings have always been the same. We are sure we need books. We are sure we love books and we learn much from them.

So we have decided to propose our library of quotes, the ones we especially love from books we like. Quotes are wisdom in pills and we really like to collect them. What about you?

WILL YOU BE MY BOOKISH VALENTINE?

Ok! This post is for boys who are still looking for the right present for their girlfriends:  a  good book is always the best way to surprise them, you know? In our opinion giving your partner a book,   you can understand each other better and show your feelings to her, like saying “This one tells about my story and my world. Will you give it a try?”
But when is a book “good”? How to choose the right one?  We have tried to match the kind of girl you could love with the right book recommendation. Fingers crossed we succeeded!

COLLATERAL BEAUTY

Hello everyone,

Today we’d like to talk about something that we find  important. Important means something that we feel has to be shared and treasured.
2017 has brought us a new film and a new story different from others because it’s about ordinary human beings and their ordinary life. No superhero, we mean, and no easy solution to sufferings and issues.  The movie we want to tell you about is COLLATERAL BEAUTY.

CHRISTMAS ACCORDING TO CHARLES DICKENS

A Christmas Carol  is a novella published by Charles Dickens in  1843. It’s the most important in the series, The Christmas Book.

It is one of the most famous and touching Christmas stories in the world.  It is the story of Ebeneezer Scrooge, a man who loves money and hates everything and everyone else. On Christmas Eve, in his cold, dark house,  he is visited  by three ghosts:  Christmas past, current and future. They take him on a journey from which he will return a different man. His life will change forever.
