I have to admit Ed Sheeran is the only singer who has never disappointed me. He is able to convey something new in every song. I never get tired of him. It may be for his wonderful voice, his simplicity and the spontaneity I feel when he just sings a note.

Now he is the biggest selling male pop star in the world and his album DIVIDE sold over 400,000 in just three days.
Here are 9 curious facts about ED, which make him even more lovable. Ready?

He loves talking about his cats.

Cats are his favourite animals. When he got one, he named him Graham and created an account on Twitter for him

He likes naming his guitars.

We could guess he loved guitars but to give them a name is rather bizarre, isn’t it?  But ED CAN DO THAT,  HE IS ONE OF THE BEST GUITAR PLAYERS ALL OVER THE WORLD and he considers his guitars as mates.  He must love them so much. Some of their names are Lloyd, Felix, Cyril and Nigel.

He did not enjoy being a teenager.

He has never been handsome especially when he was younger then he stammered and had to wear thick glasses. That made him sad and the target of bullies. I know, he is not handsome but I find him beautiful especially when he  smiles and when he sings.  I find him perfect!

He loved rapping Eminem.

In an interview he said that when he was younger he had a problem with his eardrum and a stutter and we know it’s not something great for a musician. How did he solve it? He just rapped Eminem’s songs and his stammer stopped.

He loves eating.

Well, who doesn’t? But Ed is   very foodie,  he even gave his name to a pizza: THE ED-ABRESE; and he named a spicy sauce “ED’S PERI-PERI SAUCE”

He knows how to be a special eater.

He cannot stand using smartphones.

He doesn’t’ have a phone because he considers it anti-social and he says smartphones prevent people from enjoying their moments because they are just looking at it.

He doesn’t like dressing up.

And he won a prize for it; THE WORST DRESSED MAN”. But … He is a singer not a model!

He likes saving money.

Even for his video clips. The video for A-team only cost Ed 20-22 euros.The actress? She was  a friend and she was not paid. He only paid a pair of tights for her to wear.

He cannot stand dolls.
