TRAPSHOOTING: A FANTASTIC SPORT

Hello,  I'm Alex and my post today is about my favourite sport.  Have you ever heard of Trapshooting? I'm a trap shooter, a proud trap shooter!
I know it is not a very popular sport,  in fact not many people know about it or practise it. Anyway, I’d like to tell you a bit about it.  First of all, you must know it is really exciting! Then,  go on reading and you’ll discover why!

Trapshooting is one of the three major disciplines of competitive clay pigeon shooting (shooting shotguns at clay targets). The other disciplines are skeet shooting and sporting clays. They are distinguished roughly as follows:

In trap shooting, the targets are launched from a single "house" or machine, generally away from the shooter.

In skeet shooting, targets are launched from two "houses" in somewhat "sideways" paths that intersect in front of the shooter.

Sporting clays includes a complex blackberries course with many launch points. There are variations within each group.

RED JESSICA

This is a sport for everyone, men ,women, old and young, lean and fat,  a sport for all kinds of people.  We have, for example,“Red Jessica” (see photo above) an important Italian athlete, who achieved great goals participating and winning medals at the Olympics and in the World.
MY FAVOURITE CHAMPION: GIOVANNI PELIELLO

Now I absolutely want to introduce Giovanni Peliello, an model champion,  a phenomenon.
He started  on the day of his eighteenth birthday when his mother, who had been practicing this sport, accompanied him for the first time on a shooting range. Four years later, he was summoned to participate in the Olympic Games Barcelona '92, where they rank close to the final six. 6 wins final World Cup, three world titles, three European titles, 17 tests of the World Cup, 10 Italian titles, 2 times the Mediterranean Games, the bronze medalist at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the silver medals at Olympic Games Athens 2004, Beijing 2008 and Rio de Janeiro 2016. Results at anindividual level, in addition to those in a team have  placed him for years at the top of the world ranking.
All this while fighting asthma, which means nothing is impossible if you are strong- willed.
