HERE WE GO LAMBORGHINI!

Lamborghini is one of the most popular car brands in the world. It produces supercars like Huracan and Aventador but in its history they also produced other types of vehicles. But when and how  was Lamborghini founded?

It is a curious story that makes you understand the rivalry between Lamborghini and another famous car brand: Ferrari.

The founder of Lamborghini, Ferruccio, managed an industry that produced domestic appliances. He had a Ferrari 255 GTO, but he was not totally happy, because he thought the car was not perfect.

When he had a quarrel with Enzo Ferrari,  he decided to start making his own supercars. So in 1963 he started his brand, producing cars and tractors.

The first model produced in series by Lamborghin is 350 GT followed by 400 GT , both between 1965 and 1972.

These  cars were successful and works of art at the same time   The house put on the market a jewel that would make the history  of supercars: Lamborghini Miura and Miura SVJ (the fastest ever produced at that time, which were made until 1973.

Between 1974 and 1980 Lamborghini faced difficult years because of the fuel crisis. The only model that was successful in that period was Lamborghini Countach, which saved the brand from the bankruptcy.

 Then in 1981 brothers Mimran bought the brand and they saved the industry restarting producing cars in series. In 1987 Lamborghini was bought by Chrysler.

The most famous project of that period is Lamborghini Diablo which revealed itself as very successful.

After years under the guide of an Indonesian businessman, when the most successful car was Lamborghini Murcielago, Audi bought Lamborghini. Today it is one of the most popular car brands and their  supercars are dreamed by adults and kids.

Today the most famous models  are Lamborghini Gallardo, Lamborghini Murcuelago SV, Huracan performante, Aventador and Aventador SVJ and the only suv of the brand, Lamborghini Urus.

In the last years they produced also hypercars, superfast cars like Lamborghini Centenario and Veneno.

 They are among the car makers who use only aspirated engines. My favourite model is Lamborghini Aventador SVJ,  because it is the most powerful and in my opinion the most beautiful Lambo supercar.
