We are Alex T. and Luca and we love football!!!
Football is the most popular sport in the world and it is a team sport. The target is to kick a ball with one of the feet to score a goal. It was invented by the English during the nineteenth century.
In our opinion football, in addition to being a beautiful sport, allows you to meet new people and make new friends.
As a matter of fact, we two met on a football field, during our training sessions, when we were children.
We love this sport also for its supporters. Football fans defend and stimulate their teams during the matches. They make spectacular choreographies and sing stadium chants every Sunday.
Watch this video clip. This chant is really impressive. Liverpool fans can make their stadium tremble and watchers shiver with their passion.
But fans sometimes go too far with their enthusiasm and they throw dangerous objects like firecrackers or smoke bombs into the field. They risk a disqualification of their team and when that happens they damage the team they love instead of supporting it.

Thanks for sharing your love for football with us, Alex T. and Luca. I'm not a great fan, but football has been part of my life since I had my sons. They love football! In my opinion the worst aspects are violence among the supporters, racism and the fact that is not just a sport but a huge business. All that has spoilt football which is otherwise a very beautiful sport.
