6. Certified Lover Boy (Drake)
The sixth album in my list is by the artist Drake, it was released on 3rd September. It debuted at #1 on the 200 billboard for 3 consecutive weeks with 605,000 copies sold in its first week. The album has around 1.1 billion views and among its 21 songs is Way 2 Sexy, which spent a week at # 1 in the hot 100.
5. Fearless Taylor Version (by Taylor swift)
As her 10th album, the singer gave us a re-recording of her second album released in 2008, which allowed her to debut in the music industry. In its first week it sold around 322,000 copies and debuted #1 for three weeks on the 200 billboard. It also allowed her to win a Guinness world record. This is an album that I personally enjoyed very much.
4. An Evening With the Silk Sonik
Released on November 12th, this is the first
album by Silk Sonic that with its 102,000 sales in the first week debuts at #
2. Among the most important songs of
this album we find Leave the Door Open, a real success that counts more than
670,000,000 views on Spotify.
3. Sour (by Olivia Rodrigo)
With her first album, Olivia Rodrigo amazed the
entire music industry. Her album Sour debuted at # 1 on the 200 billboard with 295,000 sales.
This album has about 5.6 billion views, due to numerous hits including Drivers License, which spent 8 weeks at # 1 .
This was the 11th album by the American singer-songwriter released on November 12th. It was her second album re-recorded by her and her 10th #1 on the 200 billboard, making her the second female artist to achieve this. The album sold around 605,000 copies in its first week and recently hit one billion views. Her main song is All Too Well (10 minute version), which by many, including Rolling Stone, is considered the best conzone of 2021.
As the best album of 2021 we find Adele's
fourth album, 30. As expected, this album was
an incredible commercial success, in fact, after selling 847,000 copies in its
first week it was recognized as the best-selling album of 2021.
The most important song of this year is easy
on me, which is the song that I have listened to the most about 200 times.
In addition to being a huge commercial success
the album and her songs have been nominated for many awards, including Album of
the Year, Song of the Year , The Best Comeback of the Year, as Adele's last album
dates back to 2015. .
In my opinion, this album fully represents Adele's style and I am convinced that we will continue to listen to it for a long time.
