A JOURNEY INTO THE FUTURE

Nowadays, electric cars are increasingly conquering space within the automotive market and bringing about great changes in the car industry, and one of them is certainly the luxurious Tesla, fully electric car with the fastest acceleration in the world. world. These quiet, non-polluting, high-performance vehicles could make internal combustion engines obsolete by 2025.

Electric Cars

Electric vehicles represent a careful choice for the environment, as they are silent and non-polluting. Tesla, then, is a car manufacturer  that has managed to achieve superior performance thanks to cutting-edge technology. At the heart of the car manufacturer'sinventionis the invention made by the scientist Galielo Ferraris, namely the inductionmotor, which includes two main parts: the rotor and the stator. Thanks to its developed technology, the Tesla motorproduces a four-pole magnetic field. This rotating magnetic field transfers current to the rods of the rotor, thereby causing it to rotate. Power to the motor is then supplied by a variable frequency driver, which controls the speed of the motor.

The Advantages

Compared to the classic internal combustion engine, an induction engine has a greater degree of response and a higher weight / power ratio, which therefore determines superior performance.

The Power Supply

As for the power supply of the electric car, this occurs through a battery pack that emits continuous electricity. This energy, however, must be converted into alternating current before reaching the motor. This is where the inverter, an electronic power device that controls the frequency of the current supply and the speed of the motor, comes into play. Basically, it’s the brain of electric cars. The battery, then, is formed by a group of lithium cells, similar to those used in everyday life, which are grouped and arranged in series or in parallel.

Electric Scooters: the Ecological Solution

Electric scooters are optimal for getting around the city and have zero emissions, so they are also an ecological and environmentally friendly choice. The increase in sales and market presence of this type of vehicle, in addition to the increase in sales of electric or hybrid cars, is due to a greater awareness of people in terms of environmental pollution and attention to the environment.

What Are Electric Scooters?

Electric scooters are real motorcycles, which instead of a normal motor have an electric motor and a battery power supply. Using no fuel to operate, the electric scooter is a completely environmentally friendly vehicle. This type of vehicle is not distinguished from traditional fuel scooters, except for a small detail: instead of the petrol tank there is a silicon or lithium battery.

Battery Life

Battery range is one of the fundamental aspects to evaluate before purchasing any electric vehicle. This duration depends on the various models, but on average the electric scooters on the market today have a range of 50 or 70 kilometers with a maximum battery level. The battery can also be charged at home using a 220 V socket and the special cable supplied. As for the charging times, on the other hand, it is calculated on average from 4 to 8 hours.

Purchase Costs

The price obviously varies from model to model, from the type of equipment, the power of the engine, the quality of the materials and the type of battery installed on the vehicle. But on average the price of an electric scooter is between 2 thousand and 5 thousand euros. Another cost associated with this type of vehicle is the cost of electricity consumption expected for recharging the battery. But this is really low. In fact, a figure of between 30 and 40 cents is estimated for a complete recharge of the scooter.
