Thor Odinson is one of the
most important members and one of the founders of the Earth's mightest heroes
team, the Avengers.
He is the prince of Asgard,
the most powerful of the nine realms, he's the God of Thunder and one of the
strongest characters of the Marvel Universe.
His Weapons
Thor has always had his iconic
and magic hammer Mjolnir, forged in the heart of a dying star, that gives
incredible powers to anyone worthy to wield it. In fact Mjolnir can only be
used by those who are worthy of it.
The hammer gives Thor the
power to control lightnings, to fly, to control the weather and to travel in
space, time and dimensions.
Thor used it for many many
years and he was very good to use it,
but during the events of “Thor Ragnarok” Hela, Thor's sister, destroyed
the hammer.
One year later Thor got a new
better weapon, Stormbreaker, that has the same powers of Mjolnir but is
also able to focus and enhance Thor's
powers. It was supposed to be the strongest weapon in Asgard's history.
He is a god
Thor is an immortal god, he's the son of Odin, the king of Asgard and
the Allfather, and Gea, the goddess of the earth.
He can die only during the
Ragnarok (the end of the world in nordic legends) but he always returns.
His pyhisiology
Thor, like all of other
Asgardians, has superhuman strength, reflex, speed, stamina and he ages very
slowly. His powers comes from Asgard and Earth so they grow when he is on one of these planets.
He has very developed senses
so that he can hear a sound in another part of the world. He is almost
invulnerable and he can immediately heal his wounds.
Thunder
Thor is the god of thunder and
he can control lightning, but Thor's
lightning are much more powerful than others in nature. He can use his
lightning to attack (God blast) or to reject the attacks of his enemies
(Anti-Force).
Thor can also control the
weather, so he can make it rain or snow
as he like and these abilities are amplified by his hammer Mjolnir.
His experience
Thor is 1,500 years old, so he
has great experience as a warrior, he is very good on one to one fights or with
hammers, axes and swords.
He is an exellent strategist,
acquiring the wisdom of the runes, a power that makes him very intelligent and
preapared to face everything and that makes him the best warrior of Asgard.
I think Thor will always
