DISNEY CARTOON ( PART I)

Hi guys! We are Camilla and Francesca and we decided to leave apart  nature and environment for once. We’ll be back soon with a new article but this time we’d like to talk Disney cartoons. We love them!

We have loved them since we were little children but  as you know they are loved both by children  and adults.

We’ve prepared a list with a few of our best favourites including  characters,  quotes and strange facts. If you’ll like our post, we’ll be back with other lists. There are so many  beautiful Disney Cartoons!

                             CHARACTERS

         

 

NEMO: It is the lead. It is funny and full of life.

 MARLIN: It is Nemo’s father.

 

DORY: It is Nemo’s best friend. It is nice and kind.

CURIOSITY :The anemone that is Marlin and Nemo’s house is animated with some technology of Sully’s hair (Monster & Co)

QUOTE: “When life gets you down do you wanna know what you’ve gotta do? JUST KEEP SWIMMING,JUST KEEP SWIMMING,JUST KEEP SWIMMING”

                                        CHARACTERS

SIMBA: It is the protagonist. It is Mufasa’s son.

MUFASA: It is Simba’s father. It is the king of savannah

                                                                                                

SCAR : It is the antagonist and it is Mufasa’s brother                

          

CURIOSITY: In the Disney film “Hercules”, the lead wears a lion’s fur coat: it belongs to Scar!

QUOTE:" Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars. So whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you… and so will I”

CHARACTERS

                   

    LILO : She is a child and she is the protagonist

   STITCH: It is a alien and he is the co-star! 

       

     

   



NANI: She is Lilo’s sister

CURIOSITY: In this film there are some objects from other Disney films. For example, in Nani’s bedroom there is a Mulan poster, in Lilo’s bedroom there is a Dumbo puppet and Stitch loves a book titled “The Ugly Duckling”.

QUOTE: “ Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten”

CHARACTERS

BAMBI: It is a deer and it is the main character.

THUMPER: It is a rabbit and it is Bambi’s best friend.

FLOWER: It is a skunk and Bambi’s friend.

    FRIEND OWL: It is an old and wise owl.

                         

        

  

FALINE: It is a female deer Bambi falls in love with.

CURIOSITY: Bambi is written by a Jewish writer called Felix Salten. In this story he refers to the tragic events of the Jewish Shoah. The deer victims of hunters symbolize the Jews as the victims of the Nazis.

QUOTE: “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”

                                                   CHARACTERS

LADY: She is a really cute dog.

                 BIAGIO: He is a trump dog.

                                                          

WHISKY: He is Lady’s friend.

TESORO AND GIANNI CARO: They are Lady’s parents.

CURIOSITY: Lady, Biagio, Whisky and some other characters appear in another popular  Disney movie: “One hundred and One Dalmatians.

QUOTE: ”Come on baby! You live until you have time”

CHARACTERS

DUMBO: It is the main character. He is an elephant who has huge ears and is able to use them to fly.

                                                                                                                       

MRS JUMBO: It is Dumbo’s loving and protective mother  

TIMOTHY Q. MOUSE: It is  Dumbo’s only friend.

CURIOSITY: During the translation  a conversation was twisted because it is untranslatable into Italian. So we don't actually understand why Dumbo is called Dumbo. We’ll try to explain it now. Dumbo's family name is Jumbo, but when Dumbo stumbles into his own ears, the other elephants have a laugh at him calling him Dumbo that comes from the English "Dumb" (stupid).

PINOCCHIO: He is a wooden puppet created by  Geppetto.

MISTER GEPPETTO: He is a woodcarver and wishes for Pinocchio to become a real boy.

JIMINY CRICKET: He is a cricket who acts as Pinocchio’s “conscience”

                   THE BLUE FAIRY: She turns Pinocchio into a real boy.

                                                                    

           

THE CAT AND THE FOX: They are swindlers and they dupe Pinocchio.

LAMPWICK: He is a naughty boy. He is Pinocchio’s friend.

STROMBOLI: He is a bearded Italian puppet-maker who forces Pinocchio to perform.

CURIOSITY:  In the mid-2000s, DisneyToon Studios began the development on a sequel to Pinocchio  which saw Pinocchio on a "strange journey" for the sake of something dear to him. It was a story that leads Pinocchio to question why life appears unfair sometimes. But … John Lasseter cancelled Pinocchio II soon after being named Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios in 2006.

 CHARACTERS

     

PETER PAN: He is the boy who never grows up.

                                                          

TINKER BELL: She is a pixie and she is Peter’s best friend.

DARLING BROTHERS: They are 3: Wendy, John and Micheal. They fly to Neverland with Peter.

            

CAPTAIN HOOK: He is a pirate captain. He is truly dangerous.

CURIOSITY: There are many hypotheses about the character of Peter Pan.

The most gloomy claims that Peter was an angel that held  kids’ hands when on their way to heaven (Neverland). That is why they never grew up. All those kids are dead.

QUOTE: "Never stop dreaming. Only dreamers can fly.”

CHARACTERS

HERCULES: He is based on the mythological deity,  Heracles.

MEGARA: She is madly in love to Hercules. She is the female protagonist.

PHIL: It is supervising animator for Philoctetes.

                                                         

HADES: He is the antagonist.

                                                                       

CURIOSITY: In Greek mythology, Hercules is not Era's son, but he is Alcmena's. Hercules hated Era, who is his mother in the cartoon.

QUOTE: "People always do crazy things when they are in love”

                                        CHARACTERS

 REMY: It is a rat with an unusual passion: The kitchen.

         

ALFREDO LINGUINI: He is bad in the kitchen. He establishes a strong relationship with Remy.

GUSTEAU: He is the chef for excellence. He is honest.

SKINNER: He is the leader of the kitchen. He is egoistic.

ANTON EGO: He is a  food critic. He is cold and detached.

CURIOSITY: In the scene where Remy is out in the streets of Paris, among the various environments there is a  home where you can see the dog Dug which is also present in the cartoon "Up".

QUOTE: "Everyone can't become great artist but a great artist can be hide in anyone"
