MY BEST FAVOURITE CARS

Today I'm going to talk to you about my best favourite cars ever starting from an Italian car, Ferrari F40.

 FERRARI F40

The first car I want to talk to you about is my favourite Ferrari, F40. Model created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the house, it was a very fast berlinetta designed by Pininfarina, built with extensive use of composite materials. The refined and highly performing mechanics combined with a chassis of the highest order made it a car with excellent dynamic qualities, very close to those of a racing prototype. Despite being a street legal car. Although it was only 1987 the F40 managed to exceed 300 km/ h reaching almost 330 km/h, and had 478 horsepower. Even if it is more than 30 years old it is one of my absolute favourite cars for its design but above all for its technical features that at that time were just incredible.

KOENIGSEGG ONE:1

Let's go back to our present times! One of my favorite cars from recent years is definitely Koenigsegg One: 1. It is not the best performing model of the Swedish brand but I’m fond of its aesthetics. Even though it is not the best performing model, it has a technical data sheet that would leave anyone speechless. It is the first car ever produced to take the name of Megacar and not hypercar, because when it came out it was the best car (this can also be guessed from the name One: 1 or the first).

But this name also means 1:1, the equation of the "dream", that is an equal ratio between horsepower and weight. An unthinkable and impossible relationship to reach for "legal" cars and yet the Swedish brand has succeeded in that with this car produced in only 7 units and costing 6 million dollars. As I said before it is not the best performing model, because this car came out in 2014 and the brand has managed to do better with the latest Koenigsegg Regera, however it remains one of the best performing megacars of recent years and the Koenigsegg who has made me fall in love with this brand.

LANCIA DELTA HF INTEGRALE

Let's go back to the 80s when the first Lancia Delta Integrale was released. Probably it is now a forgotten car by most people, but the most passionate in the automotive world will never forget it. Lancia Delta was initially a normal street car for common use. But then,
when it entered the world of rallying for the first time, with the HF version, it never left it again, remaining forever in the hearts of the fans of this sport. This car won a lot and always found itself on the podium between 1988 and 1995.

LAMBORGHINI AVENTADOR SVJ

Let's go back to the present day again to talk about one of the best Italian cars at present,  Lamborghini Aventador SVJ. It is one of the best performing Lamborghinis at the moment, if not the best performing Lamborghini. It is thanks to this car that Lamborghini succeeds for the first time in successfully reaching and exceeding 350 km/h with a road car, with a monster that has over 700 horsepower under the hood and an aspirated V12 engine. The SVJ was created to fuse advanced technology and a design to say the least crazy.

MCLAREN 720S

From Italy let's move to the United Kingdom where McLaren is located, another brand that has always been talked about, both for racing cars and road cars. My favourite McLaren or the 720S. At the heart of this beast is a bi-turbo V8 engine that delivers more than 700 horsepower. The design of the 720S, from my point of view, is elegant but sporty at the same time. It has truly sinuous lines that give the car maximum power. It has a shell entirely in carbon fiber thanks to which it weighs only 1,400 kg. Relatively zero weight for such an engine.
