Hi guys, today I want to talk to you about Fantasanremo, a new virtual game connected to the Sanremo Song Festival that this year attracted young people from all over Italy.
WHEN WAS THE GAME INTRODUCED?
This game was introduced in 2020 by a group of friends who, while watching the Festival, decided to have more fun than just watching the singers’ performances and thought about this game. At first they wrote the rules down, with related bonuses and maluses, on sheets of paper. That was up to this year, when they decided to create their own website and Fantasanremo went viral!
Your goal is to try to score as many points as possible thanks to the performances of the artists in your team during the 5 evenings of the Festival. To increase your points, your artists have many different bonuses at their disposal, the most popular of which are the words papalina and fantasanremo pronounced on the stage during the live performances, which are respectively worth 50 and 25 points.
WHO ARE THE ARTISTS THAT HAVE SCORED THE MOST POINTS?
In the second place we find Dargen D’amico with his song DOVE SI BALLA which allowed him to get 395 points.
And finally in the third place we find Elisa, with her song O FORSE SEI TU, who thanks to the numerous awards from the critics, earned her 360 points.
But Fantasanremo apart, the songs and the live music were the main attractions of the Festival, as usual. The winners of the Festival, not of the game Fantasanremo, will take part in the Eurovision Song Contest, which this year will be held in Turin in May 2022.
2022 winners were Blanco and Mamoohd with their song BRIVIDI. Last year Italy won the Eurovision with Maneskin who had before won the Sanremo Festival. Fingers crossed it may happen again this year! Twice in a row? That would be an amazing record. Good luck to Blanco and Mamoohd!
