ONE MAN, TWENTY-FOUR PERSONALITIES

Have you ever behaved in  different ways in different moments? Probably you have, but you will never be like this man,  a man with 24 personalities!

William Stangley Milligam, known as Billy has had a difficult life since he was born, tortured and raped by his stepfather.

When his mother discovered the facts she divorced him, but Billy would never be the same again.

He was expelled from school, because he was found in trance walking in the city.

He was accused of raping two prostitues in 1972  and sent to the  Zanisville youth correctional camp.

In 1975 he was arrested and accused of robbing a chemistry shop and some armed robberies in the counties of Fairfield and Hocking, he was condemned to 5 years in the correctional institute of Lebanon and then freed but in conditional liberty.

In the same year he kidnapped and raped three students of Ohio State University.

When he was interrogated he had a weird behaviour; first doctors diagnosed Billy a schizophrenia, but then they discovered that he had a multiple personality disorder.

He was discovered to have 24 personalities which were divided in wished and unwished.

The wished  were: William Stanley, Milligan, Arthur, RagenVadoscovinich , Allen, Tommy, Danny, David,  Christene, Christopher, Adalana.

The unwished were: Philip, Kevin, Walter, April, Samuel, Mark, Steve, Lee, Jason, Robert, Shawn, Martin, Timothy.

Then there was the Grandmaster, the mixture of all the 23 personalities.

They also had 5 rules: do not lie, protect children and women, keep chastity, be active intellectually cultivating hobbies, do not violate other personalities' properties.

The doctors tried to rebuild all his life using the Grandmaster who was aware of what happened to and what the other personalities did.

Billy was then ready to face the process for his crimes. He was judged innocent because he could not control his actions. After the process he went to several  Hospitals, where he was also mistreated and for this reason he faced other psychological troubles, but in the end he succeeded in finishing his rehabilitation. He also created his personal cinematographic company. He died in  2014 because of a tumor.

This is the story of a man with 24 personalities! Have you ever heard of this story or is it new to you. Isn’t it incredible?
