THE NINE LIVES OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT
Alexander the Great is undoubtedly one of the greatest generals in history. In a ten years’ time he was able to create one of the biggest empires of ancient times, unifying thousands of people under his rule. He was incredibly skilled. Even his enemies recognized his superior abilities. We all know that. And we all also know he was suddenly killed by a fever at the age of 32. But many people don’t know that during his life, Alexander succeeded in avoiding death many times. Today, we will talk about his “Nine Lives”.

THE BIGGEST EPIDEMICS IN HISTORY

BEING ITALIAN AT THE TIME OF COVID-19
We are a small country, maybe, but we are in the
dreams of billions of people all around the world.
They hope, once in their life,
to be able to see our country, to admire the largest and most beautiful
open-air museum in the world, to enter the Duomo of Milan, to be fascinated by
the magic of Venice, by the solemnity of San Pietro, by the Uffizi in Florence,
Positano, Capri, the beaches of Sicily and Sardinia, and much more.

DUNNING-KRUGER EFFECT: THE PARADOX OF DELL
“I know I do not know,”
said Socrates. “A fool thinks himself
to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool” wrote Shakespeare.
For centuries we
have known we cannot know everything and this is generally accepted.
Nevertheless very often we say: “It’s so simple!” when we don’t know enough
about a subject. That is called “Dunning – Kruger Effect”.

Hello everyone! During
this period of quarantine I watched a lot of movies and tv series but one in
particular got me hooked: Mr Robot. It isn’t the type of tv series that is easy
to describe, but I’ll try to do it without giving away huge spoilers.
