The latest car announced by Bugatti car manufacturer will be called Bugatti Bolide and will have this name because it is a real racing car. It was built on the basis of its predecessor, Bugatti Chiron. The new Bugatti is an ultralight vehicle that mounts a w16 engine that distributes 1825 horsepower. One of the most interesting features is certainly the coating applied on the vehicle roof. If you maintain low speeds, the surface remains smooth, while at high speeds "bubbles" form in such a way as to reduce aerodynamic drag by 10%.
NUMBERS
The numbers
of this car scare any other car. The Bolide weighs only 1240kg, roughly the
same as a Ford Fiesta. Thanks to the use of air-to-air intercoolers with water
pre-cooling, the weight of the transmission system is significantly reduced,
which allows the vehicle to touch 1850 Nm of torque and, as I wrote before,
gives off 1825 horsepower.
Thanks to
its 1825 horsepower, Bolide is a record machine. It exceeds 500km/h, goes from
0 to 100 km/h in just 2.17 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 4.36 seconds, but
that's nothing. This beast manages to reach 500 km/h in just 20.16 seconds, a
record never achieved by any car manufacturer.
CONCLUSION
Unfortunately,
this is all we know about Bugatti's new
beast. Obviously this luxury will be granted to very few people in the world
who will only be able to use it on the track.
