Today it is a great day for football or more precisely for the black and white supporters, that is Juventus fans!
Today they celebrate the birthday of one of their heroes, one of the greatest Juventus players, Claudio Marchisio.
He was born on this day in 1986. Marchisio's father, Stefano, was a big fan and the team had just won, a few weeks before, the Intercontinental Cup in Tokyo, one of the most beautiful football finals ever.
29th October 2006 - Marchisio was introduced into Juventus first team: he made his debut among the professional players.
In 2007 he leaves Juventus to go on loan to Empoli. He then returned to Turin and on 8th June 2008 he married Roberta.
He is now the player that Juventus and Italian football have been waiting for some time. Handsome and with very solid muscles, he is the prototype of the modern footballer
2009 was a year of important goals: the first goals with Juve, against Fiorentina in January and against Napoli in February. Finally, the greatest goal of all: on August 31st he became a father: his first son, Davide, was born.
And now some curious facts:
Marchisio is Del Piero fan
When he was young Claudio Marchisio had a Del Piero poster in his room and was playing with number 10, then he changed his mind and chose number 8. Why? Modesty: he thought he wasn't worthy the same shirt as a great champion.
Claudio Marchisio, Little Lord
His teammates have nicknamed him 'Little Lord' for his attention to fashionable clothes and his behaviour in the field. In Italian his nickname is now "Principino", Little Prince.
Claudio Marchisio and his tattoos
He has seven tattoos, each one with a precise meaning: behind the neck the letter D with two angel wings in memory of a friend who died, on the right shoulder he has a Maori tattoo with the initials of his family members. He has three tattoos dedicated to his wife: at the annular where he wear the wedding ring his wife’s name, Roby, on his arm her date of birth and behind his ear the first initial of his wife’s name. On the forearm, instead, the phrase: "Impossible is nothing".
Claudio Marchisio, Rihanna fan
Nobody knows that he is a big fan of Rihanna. Due to the start of his training, he could not attend the concert of the star at San Siro Stadium so he posted a photo with a message via Instagram: . "I cannot be at your concert for health issues but I'm sure it will be a great concert and that you will adore Italian people , the same ones that make me feel special every time I enter that Stadium,". The singer answered wearing the shirt of the Italian national team.
That's all friends! Ready to join me and wish a great Italian champion happy birthday?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CLAUDIO MARCHISIO!!!
