PUNCTUALITY, A TREASURABLE QUALITY

Hi guys, welcome back to our blog! Today we’re going to discuss punctuality: what it is, why it is so important and so on, in a way you've never seen! Let’s start or, if you prefer to stay on topic, hurry up!

Punctuality refers to the habit of a human being completing their tasks on time. We can say that punctuality is a great habit which surely results in success. All the leaders have punctuality in common as the habit is such. In other words, when you are on time, you will maintain the discipline and order in your life. It will, in turn, help you achieve your goals faster within a set time period.

ACCESS TO THE INTERNET: IS IT TRULY A RIGHT FOR EVERYONE?

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our blog.  How are you? I’m fine, I can’t complain. Today we're going to talk about the Internet.

Nowadays everybody uses it and it has become part of our lives, especially in this difficult period for us students (but also for the teachers, of course!).

The access to Internet is a human right. Therefore we urge all states to ensure free access to the network: it’s necessary to obtain the freedom of expression and opinion. One important tool , especially in countries where the media are not independent, as demonstrated by the riots breaking out there, Internet access is part of human rights; moreover, the  internet has become an indispensable means for the achievement of a whole range of human rights.  It helps fight inequity and accelerate the development and progress of each state.

BEING FAMOUS

Hi everyone! Welcome back to our blog. Today we're going to talk about being famous and rich, a very interesting topic. Let’s discover more!

Being famous and rich is one of the life goals of many  young people. There are people who like becoming public property, being acknowledged by the others and being at the centre of their attention; but there are  other who don’t like that so much. Of course, we can say  that there are both advantages and  disadvantages in being popular.

EASTER TIME

Hi guys, how are you? I'm fine, luckily. Today I want to talk about one of the most important holidays in our country and not only. I'm talking about Easter! Let's find out more about this celebration.

Easter, like Christmas, is a consumerist bank holiday nowadays, together with Easter Monday (and Good Friday in the UK). Students and many workers take a break from school and work and people gather with family for a great dinner. Easter eggs, doves, Easter bunnies are just some of the many Easter symbols. However, what is the real meaning of Easter?
In Christian countries, Easter has religious roots as it is the day where believers celebrate Jesus Christ’s Resurrection. According to the New Testament, Jesus died on the Cross on Friday (nowadays it is known as Good Friday) and then he resurrected on Sunday. On Easter Monday, instead, people remember the meeting between the Angel and the women in front of the sepulcher where Jesus was buried.

BEING A TEENAGER CAN BE VERY DIFFICULT, CAN'T IT?

Hi guys! Welcome back to our blog.  How are you? I hope you are all coping, I know these are difficult days for everyone. But, let's see what's positive:  now we have a lot of time to spend on self-improvement, doing our homework, chatting with friends, reflecting on what is important or…writing a new post for our blog!

Today I’m going to talk about teenage issues related to our generation. I’m thinking of alcohol, drugs, violence, bullying, anorexia, self-harm and so on.

Even though many young people try not to talk about these topics,  though they experience them directly or indirectly,  they find it difficult to open up and hide the truth to themselves and to the others.

LEICESTER DREAMED BIG!

Hi everyone! This is James.  Welcome back to our blog! How are you? I'm fine, I expected this return to school to be more difficult, but luckily everything is fine, I'm ready for the “second half" of the school year! Last Saturday I was watching the Premier League match Leicester-Southampton, and the winning-title season by Leicester in 2015/16 came back to my mind, probably the best achievement for the small club in recent years. Let's find out more!

TEENS & DRUGS

Hi guys! Welcome back to our blog. How are you? I'm Giacomo, and today I would like to write about an important issue, especially for us teenager.
We're in a very, very strange phase of our life, and it's impossible to not get in touch with new things: sometimes, for a variety of reasons, we happen to get in touch with a new world, but it's a very dangerous one: drugs.

Hi guys! Welcome back to our blog! How are you? I'm fine, I'm ready for this new year and, to be honest, I missed all of this. I can't wait to create new contents for our blog during all this year, and to support all of my  blog mates. We are a team, guys, aren't we? For this new October’s post, I decided to talk about one of the best footballers ever: last year I wrote about Cristiano Ronaldo, but today I would like to talk about “la Pulga"(his nickname, how Spanish people usually call him during matches), Lionel Messi!

INVISIBLE

Everyone happens to feel alone or powerless sometimes. In the last years, there’s been an increase of teenagers suffering from this state of mind and having consequentially repercussions on their lives.  There are several reasons why a teenager can feel “invisible”, one of them  is that we live in a society full of prejudices  and very competitive, where everyone is judged.
Something we believe has been experienced by everyone at least once in their life, is the feeling of being invisible. If we could see all of our memories in front of us like on a movie, we're sure we’d all find that particular moment in which we felt like we were alone in the world, and it's not so fun at all. We could define this type of invisibility as 'harmless', because, sooner or later, we find a way out of it. However, there are some people who are not able to come out of it so easily, people who feel like this all their lives.
On the contrary to what is generally assumed, feeling invisible is a common experience, especially among teenagers, so among us. Actually, we feel that people do not think about this problem at all, and that's why we do not even realize it also affects the closest people we have.

CAPTIVITY

Welcome back to our monthly appointment on our blog! We are glad you dropped by again and are reading. In this post  we're going to talk about captivity, a serious theme.
Captivity is a term used to designate animals that are held in cages or pools for public display and shows in zoos. Aquariums are all over the world in order to attract people and tourists who have the opportunity to have a look at different kinds of animals that do not belong to the fauna of their countries (for example, there are no seals in Italy!). As such, these places have an educational role.

SMARTPHONES, SMART ... OWNERS?

Smartphones are surely one of the biggest inventions of the past few years… Everyone has one, and can’t live without it. In the beginning, the phones were big and uncomfortable and you could only use them to make calls but, with time, they became smaller and smaller and with many more functionalities.
Now with the arrival of smartphones they’ve become so big but still comfortable, they have very advanced functions and we can say they are “mini-pc”. Certainly, smartphones make life easier,  but like everything else,  they have their downsides and we are going to talk about some of them…

SERIE A 2017/18

The Italian football championship is one of the best leagues in Europe with Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1 and Bundesliga. A few years ago, Serie A was the best championship in Europe with the best players in the world. Now, Italian football is not like before because other leagues like La Liga and Premier League have teams with money so they can afford to buy better players. The only team which is at the same level as the other big European teams is Juventus, indeed it's no coincidence if it won the last seven championships…  But now Serie A, taking its time, is returning to the top.

FIFA WORLD CUP 2018: PITY WE WERE NOT THERE!

Are you an avid football fan? If you are, you’ll love reading our first post for LET’S BLOG!   We are great football fans, so we’ve chosen to start writing about FIFA World Cup.

FIFA World Cup is the biggest football tournament. There are 32 national teams competing and it takes place every four years.
Brazil national team won the cup five times, while Italy and Germany “just” four times.
2014 FIFA World Cup was held in Brazil. During the tournament Germany played against Argentina. The victory-goal was scored by Mario Gotze during the extra time after taking Miroslav Klose place, that was the best world cup goal scorer of all time.
