THREE APPS FOR TRUE DREAMERS: FIND OUT HOW TO BEST SEE THE STARS

Hello everyone! Today I would like to share with you something exciting that happened to me this summer, precisely on my birthday. My friends surprised me and gave me a star as a gift, or rather, they gave my name to a star!

It was a really cool thought, which I truly appreciated. Do you know how it works? I now have certificates attesting the name of the star and I can also look for it on astral charts thanks to the star coordinates.

The star on the map indicates the exact location.

Persephone - 27th June 2021

Extra Bright Star #3015665 - Auriga

Right ascension: 6h 16m 9.81s

Declination: 32° 57' 36.58"

Magnitude: 9.0370000

Since that day I have been researching to find a way to see the star in the sky: so here are 3 apps for perfect dreamers , apps to see the stars  and the whole sky.

S      Stellarium Mobile Sky Map

Stellarium Mobile Sky Map is an App for Android / iOS that comes from the famous "Stellarium" PC software. Until a few years ago we had to connect to our computers to have a "portable planetarium" available, now with the Stellarium Mobile Sky Map App it is possible to travel in the celestial vault directly on your smartphone. The application shows in real time how stars, planets, celestial bodies appear in the sky; at the same time it gives us information about them such as name, coordinates and distance.

Star map

Star Map is an App for Android and iOS that allows you to have an overview of the sky at any time; star map smartphone app shows constellations, celestial objects, planets. Through the celestial search, the app tells us when the Sun and the planets in the sky rise and set, while with the celestial search we will be able to find out where to look for shooting stars, explore dwarf planets, track comets and more. By looking for the name of a star in the celestial search, we will be able to know the right ascension and declination of a star, and other important information for orienting our telescope.

Night Sky

Night Sky is an App for observing the sky with a very attractive graphic interface. It allows you to access the "augmented reality" function: by accessing the camera, you will have the impression that the sky blends with the landscape: seeing is believing! In astrophotography mode you will have a tool capable of capturing images and videos of the starry sky. By double clicking on a celestial object and on the "i" of the information, you will access a veritable mine of information as well as a link to the Wikipedia article written for that object.
