THAT’S SO RAVEN IS COMING BACK!

Ladies and gentleman,  I’m glad to announce Raven Baxter’s return! When I was a child I always watched “That’ so Raven” on Tv, and when I heard there would be a sequel I was so happy because Raven Baxter was part of my childhood . Hearing  about this news you can have two reactions:

Either you are wondering who Raven Baxter is and why her return is so important or, like me, you are  truly excited  because you watched “That’s so Raven” years ago and you liked her adventures.

If you belong to the  first category I will briefly explain what “ That’s so Raven” is and who Raven Baxter  is. Ready?

A SHORT PLOT

“That’s so Raven “ is a teen comedy sitcom that was transmitted in January 2003 for the first time. The main character is Raven Baxter , a teen girl who has supernatural  powers,  she can see the future through visions.

 Sometimes her power gets Raven into a lot of troubles but thanks to the help of her two best friends, Chelsea and Eddie, she always solves everything.

She lives in San Francisco with her family: her father,  Victor Baxter, her mother Tanya Baxter and Cory, her younger brother. (Cory will be the protagonist of the Spin-off “ Cory in the House”.)

RAVEN’S HOME

After about ten years from the end of “That’s so Raven”, in October 2016 a sequel of the series was announced. In 2017 the plot of this new series was released : the protagonist will be Raven , but now she is an adult and a divorced mother, she has two twin  children, Brooker and Nia, and one day she finds out one of her children has inherited her psychic abilities. Chelsea will get back too! Like Raven she is a divorced mother and she raises her son, Levi,  alone.

On 21 July 2017 there will be “ Raven’s Home “premiere !! And I can’t wait to watch it.

RAVEN SYMONE- RAVEN BAXTER

If you don’t know Raven Symoné as Raven Baxter , you will know her as Olivia Kendall in “ The Cosby Show”,  Denise ‘s step-daughter.

After Raven, she played Maryanne Greene in “Filmore!”(2004), in 2007 she played Raven again in “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody” and “Cory in the House”  Amber Algoode in “Sonny With a Chance” (2010), Georgia Chamberlain in “State of Georgi”(2011), Olivia Lyon in “Empire “(2015), Simone Devereaux in “K.C. Undercover” (2015), Rhonda Johnson in” Black-ish” (2015)

ANNELIESE VAN DER POL- CHELSEA DANIELS    

In 2007 Anneliese van der Pol played Avery in “Bratz the movie”, in 2010 Jennifer in “ Vampire sucks” and in 2015  Dayna in “Cast Dancing on Jupiter”. Moreover,  she did some cameos in different tv series like “Shake it up” and “Friends with Benefits”.

KYLE MASSEY – CORY BAXTER  

IN 2003 Kyle Massey was part of the cast “The Practice”,   he was the protagonist of “Cory in the House “(2007-2008), and he was in some episodes of “Gotham”.

ORLANDO BROWN – EDDIE THOMAS

Orlando Brown played Evan in “Clifford’s Puppy Days “,Dwayne in “One on One “(2004), and himself in Hell’s Kitchen (2011).

T’KEYAH CRYSTAL KEYMAH – TONYA BAXTER

After “that’s so Raven” T’Keyah Crystal Keymahgave her voice to Mrs.Carter in “American Dragon:Jake Long” (2005-2006) and  Bumblebee in “Teen Titans”(2004) and she played Dr.Blair Riley in “Let’s stay together”(2013).

RONDELL SHERIDAN – VICTOR BAXTER

From 2007 to 2008 Rondell Sheridan acted again in the role of Victor Baxter in “ Cory in the House”, in 2009 played Lou in “ Help Me , Help You” and 2012 he participated in an episode of  “The Jadagrace Show”
