LITTLE LONDON

Rome continues to offer surprises, even to those who have lived there for many years or are used to visiting it all the time. In fact, few know that the Eternal City also boasts a Little London among its characteristic neighborhoods. This is how one of the most hidden and little celebrated places in the capital is defined. Very often hearing this name does not ring any bell even to the Romans themselves. After all, however, it is part of the great undeniable charm of the city, constantly to be discovered.

WHAT IS SUCCESS?

The first things that come to mind when thinking about the word "success" are money in huge quantities, countless material possessions and the knowledge of a large number of people. Most people who see men and women wearing expensive jewelry, designer clothes and shoes, driving luxury cars believe that success is measured by ownership. Those who have succeeded in achieving these objectives are considered "arrived", those who are not, however, a failure. For these, success is mainly determined by education, money and power, so the lack of these three requirements seem to be signs of failure.

MOST STREAMED ARTISTS, SONGS AND ALBUMS IN 2021

Happy New Year, everyone! May 2022 be better than its predecessors (fingers crossed).  If 2020 was the year that turned the world on its head, 2021 was the year we got used to seeing things upside down. With "normal" thrown out the window, people all over the world have begun to embrace the unknown and, in doing so, have championed all the things that make each of us unique. Not so bad, then.

LET'S TALK ABOUT HAPPINESS

Rich, lucky and healthy people are considered happy, but  not all of them are. Actually, I think those who do not sink into material welfare are happier, and above all those who have peaceful souls. Speaking philosophically,  we can say that happiness is within us, not outside.
People are convinced that to be happy you have to be free to do whatever  you want, you have to own  riches and you have to be loved. But is that true?

WELCOME TO THE EMERALD ISLE: IRELAND

Irish traditions

Irish culture and traditions make us discover that the Irish particularly love their land of origin. So there are numerous festivals that pay homage to their legacy, for example St Patricks Day, Bloomsday, rugby or hurling games all accompanied by celebrations in pubs and with beer.

DREAMING OF A BETTER WORLD

We live in a period in which it seems that the ethical values and ideals that were reference points for past generations are no longer there. In our age what prevails over the important values of life are money and materialism. Meanwhile, man tends not to see social problems such as unemployment, racism, crime and environmental degradation, continuing in his search for pleasure and luxury, even if in the depths of his soul he feels a sense of dissatisfaction.

TRAVELLING IN THE UK: 5 QUINTESSENTIALLY ENGLISH VILLAGES

When we talk about the United Kingdom, we usually think of big cities like London, Manchester, Liverpool and Oxford, but England is a land full of lovely, cosy villages, away from the chaos of the metropolis where time seems to have stopped. Here are some  you can add to your wish list.

THE DAWN OF A NEW DAY

Every dawn brings a new day,
washing with the light of hope
the stains and dust of the spirit
empty of every past day.
You want to conceal yourself!
The heart does not obey,
diffused light from the eyes.

In life there is no hope
to avoid pain:
that you can find in the soul
the strength to bear it.

ITALY; THE BEL PAESE

We can’t travel these days, we can’t even go out of our homes. What about a virtual journey throughout our wonderful country?

We Italians sometimes forget it, but if Italy is called “Bel Paese” there is a reason! Already in ancient years Italy gained a place of honour among the most beautiful countries in the world. In fact, the beauties of Italy are renowned everywhere and visitors come from all over the world. From North to South of the boot, each Italian region offers historical monuments, panoramic views and unique villages where time seems to have stopped.
But what is the most beautiful city of all?Rome or Venice? Palermo or Naples?  Italy is the country with the largest number of unique cities which makes choosing the most beautiful very hard. Here are the most beautiful cities, in my opinion.

TO ALL THE BOYS, P.S. I STILL LOVE YOU

Yesterday I saw a beautiful film and I think it was perfect for Valentine's day. It is the sequel of the movie "To all the boys I've loved before", called "To all the boys, P.S. I still love you". It is adapted from a best-selling series of books and it's an interesting addition to a story of young love that doesn't end with the first big swoon.

MY TOP 5 FAVOURITE ED SHEERAN SONGS

5. GIVE ME LOVE

This song dates back to six years ago and is about necessary love,  which one cannot live without. In the lyrics Ed tells us that love has no limits and that it’s one of the few things that makes us complete. He makes us aware of the fact that love is a beautiful thing that can save us. In the video there’s a disappointed and wounded girl who turns into an angel of love, who with her arrows hits people and makes them fall in love. Love can save us but sometimes it can also hurts us.
