Hi guys!! Welcome to my top five! Today I am not going to tell you about sport, unfortunately…
But I’ll tell you about the best 5 places in the world according to … ME! I’ve listed then in a top five.
NUMBER 5: The Colosseum, Rome, ITALY
Known as the Flavian Amphitheatre , the Colosseum is my number five! It is an oval amphitheatre located in the centre of Rome, Italy. The structure was used for battles, executions and public spectacles. It was built in 70-80 AD and every year a lot of tourists visit it….and you? Have you ever been there?
NUMBER 4: Machu Picchu,Perù
And what about Machu Picchu in Perù? Do you know it? Machu Picchu is famous outside Peru for its well-preserved Inca ruins and mountain terraces, and is known to have been constructed to be the official home of the Inca rulers in the middle of the 15th century, serving as a ceremonial centre for up to 750 residents at any given time. It is a very beautiful place and…what numbers! Every day the ruins of Machu Picchu are visited by more than 2,000 people! I like them a lot…and I’m going to go there one day…
NUMBER 3: The Great Blue Hole, Caraibi
The Great Blue Hole is an underwater sinkhole located just 100 kilometers off the coast of Belize. It was formed during several episodes of glaciations when the level of the sea was lower. This is a popular spot among recreational scuba divers who are lured by the opportunity to dive in sometimes crystal-clear water and meet several species of fish. Every year a lot of scuba divers and tourists visit this place and, in my humble opinion, everyone should!
NUMBER 2: Niagara falls,Canada
The name comes from to three big waterfalls on the Niagara River in eastern North America, on the border between the United States and Canada. The three waterfalls are: the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls, the smallest. Niagara falls are famous for their beauty, moreover for the production of electric energy. I love Canada and I dream to do a long journey there one day.
NUMBER 1: Hveravellir, Iceland
My number one is Hveravellir, Iceland. It is a natural reserve and one of the pearls of Iceland. This is a geothermal area. There you can find a fantastic hot swimming pool located in a warm stream. Close to the hot pool there is a beautiful geothermal area with multi-coloured boiling mud pools, huffing and puffing fumaroles and beautiful azure hot springs. One of the hot springs is called Eyvindarhver or "The Hot Spring of Eyvindur”. Every year a lot of people visit this area and every day a lot of tourists take a bath there!!! What a place!!! I’ve added it to my dream places!!
Which one?? Do you like them?
